On 21 November, MILA ran a successful webinar on the theme of ‘Building a national alliance for media and information literacy’. This postponed event was originally scheduled to take place a few weeks earlier as part of UNESCO’s Global MIL Week.
Following an introduction by a panel of MILA’s trustees, the webinar provided an opportunity for a valuable discussion with participants on ways of securing better recognition of the societal importance of media and information literacy. We are grateful to all those who joined us on the day.
